Relaunching the Blog

Why Relaunch?

Prior to this relaunch, all my blog posts were managed through a custom built platform (originally meant to be forums). It worked fine but didn't allow a lot of flexibility. One thing in particular, I need to be able to draft something before I post it which didn't work at all. This new engine I built has a pretty neat method for drafting a new post. I also didn't like that anonymous users weren't able to leave comments on posts. So this new system will eventually allow for that (not yet). Hopefully it will encourage some more reader participation.

The Old Stuff?

There were a few things I posted on my old system which had a lot of views and seemed relatively popular. What I will do is rewrite them into this engine and post them again. I will add a redirection to the old link and point it to the new article. During this process I will probably update the articles to be more relevant if they are outdated.

When Will There Be New Content?

I plan on putting some stuff up very soon. I've still got a bit of work to do on the site. I want to get the comment system up and running as a priority. Once thats working I will get to work rewriting and posting some threads. At the rate I am going - I should have the comments working over the next couple days.

I have also been working on a couple other things, I have been rebuilding my four hundred scoring application and I am almost finished building an Optus Usage Meter. More on those later.
